Starting out with an idea BETTER, FASTER and LESS
EXPENSIVE lead to the founding of COLE CUSTOM
CREATIONS. I first saw the need for a local source for
embroidery when a friend purchased a shirt while at a
convention at what I thought was a high price for a medium
quality product. When some other friends wanted the same
shirt, I thought I could do a better job less expensively.

I went to my stepmother Becky Filby Cole a former home
economics teacher at Slippery Rock Middle School. She had
a home embroidery machine and I was able to produce the
same type design with BETTER QUALITY, and for a LESS
EXPENSIVE PRICE! Several other people asked about having
shirts made and an idea for a business was born. The need
for faster service is what lead to an investigation into the
prospects of an embroidery business.

After over a year investigation into this type business my
father John Cole and I felt the Grove City area was in need
of a local supplier of embroidered goods. As local police
officer and former volunteer fireman and emergency medical
technician as well a an
officer in a local fraternal group I saw all of these groups
going out of town to purchase their embroidered goods.

John an umpire and sports enthusiast for over 30 years
saw sports teams, golf, and bowling leagues as well as his
business friends going out of town to purchase
embroidered goods. He saw local school groups and church
groups doing the same. The need was there.

for years LOCAL. With the purchase of a TOYOTA
professional embroidery machine with the capability of
customized logo's as well as stock designs COLE CUSTOM
